what does it mean to be dialed?

The term “Dialed” or “Dialed in” are commonly used today. But what do they mean? More importantly, what do they mean to us?

Who we are

Before we answer what it means to be dialed, let us introduce ourselves. My name is Alan Imber and I am the founder of Dialed Film. My business partner and co-owner of Dialed is Cameron Wilson. We met at film school, quickly became friends, made a few short films and commercials together and the rest is history. We both have producing backgrounds but my primary specialty is Director of photography and Cam’s specialty is Directing. We are a North Carolina based film production company specializing in brand films, commercials and documentaries.

Now what is dialed?

Dialed is anything or anyone that is fully consumed at what they do, so much so that they are incredibly skilled at that one thing. This word is something we always used before we started Dialed Film, describing a product or a person that is so precise. We knew we had to name our production company, Dialed Film. At Dialed, we are obsessed with your story and creating beautiful moving images to tell your story. We want to tell the stories dialed people, places and things.
